Join us for our Homeschool STEMOTICS class! Each program includes a one hour guided robotics & coding workshop with STEMOTICS, and 30mins of playtime before & after each class in our 3000 square foot indoor playground!

Creative Coders: Build Games and Stories with Scratch! Ages 5-7
Workshop Runs: Wednesdays 12pm-1pm
Introduction
In this engaging course, students will learn coding and animation by using Scratch and solving puzzles and creating games to master basic programming concepts. Then, they’ll explore Scratch to create animated stories and interactive projects. By the end, students will have a mix of coding skills and creative animation projects, building both problem-solving and storytelling abilities.
Create & Play: Build Games with MakeCode Arcade! Ages 8-12
Workshop runs: Wednesdays 11am-12pm
Introduction
Dive into the world of game design and interactive learning with MakeCode Arcade. In this hands-on course, students will create immersive worlds, design 3D games, and develop arcade-style projects using coding tools and creative platforms. They’ll explore history, science, and math through Minecraft, build games in Roblox using Lua scripting, and create interactive experiences with MakeCode Arcade’s block-based coding. By the end, students will have a portfolio of projects and a strong foundation in game development and coding.
Smart Hardware with Raspberry Pi Pico! Ages 12+
Workshop runs: Wednesdays, 10am-11am $40 discount due to playtime not being included
Introduction
Get hands-on with the exciting world of smart hardware! Using a powerful kit that combines 17 different sensors and a 2.4-inch touch screen, students will dive into programming and electronics with the Raspberry Pi Pico 2. No soldering or wiring is needed – everything is ready to use right out of the box. Over 8 weeks, students will explore more than 20 creative tutorials, starting with the basics and progressing to advanced projects. They’ll learn how sensors work, practice logical thinking, and bring their ideas to life with 20 programmable full-colour lights, interactive features, and even fun mini-games. Perfect for curious minds, this course is designed to inspire creativity and problem-solving while making coding and hardware fun and engaging.
